the process of updating its Long Range Transportation Plan called
Metro Grow, which will help shape our transportation future through
the year 2045. The plan will be developed to meet our community’s
goals, needs, and priorities for all modes of travel. ​​​​​​

Metro COG

Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments (Metro COG) is the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Fargo-Moorhead area. An MPO is a transportation policy-making organization made up of representatives from local government and transportation authorities.

The Fargo-Moorhead Metro Bikeways Gap Analysis project is underway. MetroCOG and its partners are examining 16 gaps in the Fargo-Moorhead bikeway network and developing bikeway concept alternatives that can help close the gaps in the network.
