The Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Council of Governments (Metro COG) is seeking an Assistant Transportation Planner to support regional transportation planning, technical analysis, public engagement, and transit planning initiatives for the Fargo-Moorhead metropolitan area. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow professionally while working with local governments, state transportation agencies, and community stakeholders on projects that shape the region's future.
Qualified candidates should have a bachelor's degree in planning, geography, engineering, or a related field, with at least one year of relevant planning experience preferred. The 2026 starting salary ranges from $71,672 to $80,286, plus a competitive benefits package.
